Next weekend (11-13 February), there will be a conference here in Paris on European university struggles which will see the participation of many groups and collectives from England, Italy, Spain, Russia, Slovenia, etc.. The discussion will talk about the crisis of the university within the context of the global political and economic crisis and will critically examine various prospectives of reform. In this sense, the discussion will aim at creating a autonomous political alternative to the capitalist management of the European university.
